How It Works
Text or email a couple of pictures of what needs to come out and for a straightforward job we can usually price it right then. Bigger or more unusual jobs get a free walkthrough. Same-day or next-day is normally available.
The crew arrives with tools, dust protection and the trailer. Drywall, tile, cabinets and flooring come out and go straight into the trailer. Most single-room jobs run 2 to 4 hours.
The debris leaves with us and the room gets swept, so whoever is working next walks into a clean space. Disposal is included, recycled or handled to Manatee County standards.

What counts as light demolition?
A piece of a room rather than the whole room. Cutting out a wall of drywall, taking a ceiling down, pulling a vanity and the tile behind it, removing a run of kitchen cabinets, or lifting tile and vinyl flooring with the underlayment. If the whole room is going back to bare studs, that is a full gut instead and it is priced differently.
Do you work with remodelers?
A lot of this work comes from them. We get in first, cut out what has to go, load it and sweep the room so their crew starts clean and on schedule instead of losing a day to hauling. Booking closes at 5pm for next-day work.
Do you pull permits or do structural work?
No. We do not pull building permits and we do not touch anything load bearing, no framing changes, no roof, no exterior walls. Interior, non-structural tear-out is the scope. If your project needs a permit or a licensed general contractor, we will tell you that plainly instead of taking the job.
What about asbestos or lead paint in an older home?
We do not test for it and we do not remove it. Older ceilings, floor tile and adhesives can contain asbestos and older paint can contain lead. If there is any doubt it gets tested first and abated by a licensed abatement contractor before we start. We would rather delay a job than create that problem for you.
Do you disconnect plumbing or electric?
No. Before we quote we ask what is running to the wall or the fixture. Anything live needs a licensed plumber or electrician to cap or disconnect it first. We will tell you exactly what has to happen before we can start so the schedule holds.
Do you haul the debris, or just tear it out?
We haul everything. The whole point of using us instead of doing it yourself is that you do not end up with a pile of drywall, tile and cabinets in the driveway waiting on a separate hauling crew. It comes out, it goes in the trailer, it leaves the same day.
How long does a typical job take?
A single bathroom tear-out is usually 2 to 3 hours. A kitchen cabinet and counter removal runs 2 to 4 hours depending on how it is built. A ceiling or a wall of drywall can be quicker. We give you a time estimate when you book so you know when we will wrap up.
Do you dispose of the material or recycle it?
We recycle what we can. Metal, clean wood and some fixtures go to local processors. The rest is disposed of properly in Manatee County. We do not guarantee a specific percentage recycled because it depends on the material condition and what local facilities accept that day.
